Like WALTER, it's simple to use.  Before use submerge and soak for 24 hours, install in top chamber, and begin filtration. discard the first 2 gallons. and then DRINK UP!!!!

Filters should be replaced based on usage .  Ranging 6- 12 months, depending factors for replacing-flow rate, usage, and water source. A gentle scrub will help flow.
